This page is dedicated to this CD Album, "Bluzin' For You".  First I'd like to take some time to thank everyone that has supported me on this venture (adventure) and the encouragement that they all gave me.  It's great to have such good friends and support from people that I know well and some I barely know at all.  This album is dedicated to you all.  Unlike  most musicians I don't have the dreams that I'll some day make it big but even if I can make it small, it is all for you.  You'll notice that the titles of my CD's have YOU in them.  That's there because it's for you that I put my music down, and I've tried my best to make it presentable.

The items highlighted in green are hyperlinked to the lyrics.

First of all I'd like to start of by sayin' a few words about the cover.  I put it to the vote of a panel to select their favorite cover out of what was presented to them.  It was unanimous, "go with the bike."  It probably represents this album as well as myself pretty closely.  I have a positive attitude, love riding and have a couple bikes, love my music and hope you will to, and the thumbs up is for you and your journey through life.   Second, You'll notice a couple insignias on the bottom corners of this cover.  This is to salute not just my Special Forces Brothers but to all Soldiers that protect us and our constitutional republic and in memory of all lost but not forgotten and fallen comrades.   Last but not least, I played all instruments and did all vocals except the bonus track.  This is what's great about being an independent artist, I can do the music the way you and I both want to hear it and package it so that everyone hopefully can afford it.

1. Bluzin' For You - For my love's of yesterday I have never forgotten you.  Though my heart and soul now belongs to my Wife Kathy, you will always hold a very special place in my heart and mind.  Along with that it's a struggle to find true love out there and sometimes there's lessons to be learned with each failure.  2. Somethin' Wicked - This was thought of as I watched the movie "Something Wicked This Way Comes."  I used it as a theme per say.  I took away from watching that movie that no matter how great you may think things are going there's always that fear of doubt and evil has a way of messing things up in your life.  I have no complaints as to my life but, I recognize the realities of life and bad things will happen.  3. Got To Break Away - This is actually a disguise of  the story of my life.  Having come here from heaving I've spent what I felt is a long time.  The road is a metaphor of my life time here on earth.  Yes I have lost my way a few times.  Asking for help I could find it nowhere on the temporal plane.  As I go through life I am looking for a way to get back to heaven.  Hooking up with a Bad Evil Woman is another metaphor of everything bad that I got into.  I knew if I didn't find something spiritual that my physical death would surely come soon.  I tried all kinds of things to get myself on the straight and narrow but the siren of the world had me in its grasp.  I knew where I was headed was down a one way street to nowhere because I heard all the stories of others that failed to Break Away.  I did Break Away and that's why I'm still here to write-on.   4.  I Don't Bite - Talkin' 'bout my lady here.  She's endured my antic's and bravado for way too many years but she knows me way too well, I don't bite.  I have this front that projects a hard, stern, man of steel.  At least I used to.  Being a Former SF Soldier it's all part of the show and go.  Never backed down in the face of danger but, the lady can put me right where she wants me, when she wants me there.  Darn-it all, and she knows it too.  You got a problem with that?  I'll meet you out back of the gym after school.  5. What's In It For Me - A story about a guy that's spent it all, time, money, etc., on a woman and is now asking the question What's in it for me?  Having had enough he puts the leather to her butt and calls it quits.  6.  Hot Hot Haute - A song about a Hot motorcycle, a Hot car, and a Haute woman that wanted it all to stop because it took time away from her.  Goodbye some times is a real sweet phrase.  7. Be It As It May - A cool, melodic, bluesy, orchestrated song that tells of a devoted man to his woman.  A great tune  to play for that romantic candle light dinner.  In tradition of the blues and jazz feel of yester-year.  8. No Respect - An encapsulated song of my life.  Doing everything I can do to make good and never seeming to get any respect.  I don't actually have a complex but it sure made for a decent theme for the song.  Yes, I'm a Vet, and have the degrees, but running off to the mountains was only a paranoid dream I had at one time.  Everything else rings pretty true.  9.  Wastin' My Time - This song was actually written after my father's death and my memories of the old farm and his last days in my home.  The farm part speaks for itself but it was winter time and I was sitting in the room where he used to lie and I watched the Fruitless Mulberry Leaves falling off the tree as the wind blew in the winter breeze.  That was one of the most memorable days of my life.  The other two versus were added later.  Heck you can't have a song with only two verses.   10.  Back In The 'Nam - In retrospect of the  'Nam (Republic of Vietnam) era and the War (police action).  Just some sentiments of the facts and feelings of back then, and now.  11.  Testify - Kind of my contribution to RnB, Gospel, and whatever else that it fits.  Truths and beliefs told.  Be careful you might be converted.  12. Uncle Sam - Taxes, the Draft, Politics and Death.  Serve and pay until you die or are eaten by the proverbial wolves at you door.  It's your door so you determine who best fits in the wolves clothing.  13. Bonus Track - This is another interpretation of (3) Got To Break Away performed by guest artist David Callanta.  If you recognize the name it may be because he's my talented brother.  He has played in many local bands and other bands in Northern California.
