The DC Riders are a Blues/Rock oriented band that cover many aspects of the genre with both original and cover music. If you like High Energy Blues, Blues Rock, R&B, and a bit o' Funk , you'll enjoy this band. The band consists of Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, and various other instruments including Keys, Sax, and Harmonica, depending on venue and any guest artists that may appear with them. The talent reaches decades of song and music all the way back to the ‘60’s. The DC Riders have many friends in the music industry and like to have guest artists join them on occasion.
This group came from varying musical backgrounds but were brought together by a common love for the Blues and the direction of their ideas and music. They all bring their unique qualities and abilities and meld it into a solid sound and performance. Each have their individual influences so their sound and music are all their own.
The DC Riders are a formulation of talent, music, and sound that are destined to propel them to notoriety. If you had to try and sum them and their music into as simple a term as possible, it would have to be “Fun.” You can’t help but feel a party is going on every time they play.
